The Dutch team, who have two points from their win over Namibia, made a single change. Fast bowler Kyle Klein returned to the side, replacing Timm van der Gugten in a straight swap. Klein had featured in the first match against Pakistan, while van der Gugten played against Namibia and gave away 21 runs in his two overs.
USA reshuffled their lineup with three changes. Ali Khan came back into the side after recovering from an injury picked up in the game against India. Saiteja Mukkamalla and Nosthush Kenjige were also included, with Andries Gous, Ehsan Adil and Saurabh Netravalkar making way.
Captain Monank Patel said he expects the top order to spend time at the crease early on, focusing on the initial five to ten balls instead of attacking from the outset.
