The 16th Triennial General Body Meeting (GBM) of the Union Bank Officers Association (UBOA), Western UP (W&C) and Uttarakhand Unit, was successfully held on 15 March 2026 at Hotel Hilton Garden Inn in Lucknow.
The meeting witnessed large participation from officers across the unit and the state, with more than 1,000 officers attending the event. The gathering was described as a grand success due to the enthusiastic participation of members from different regions.
Participation of Federation Leaders
Several senior leaders of the Federation also attended the meeting. Among them were:
- Priyaranjan Kumar – Chairman of the Federation and General Secretary of the Bihar Unit
- Rajkumar Tirthala – President of the Federation and General Secretary of the Telangana Unit
Apart from them, other senior federation leaders and General Secretaries from different affiliate units were also present at the event.
Election of Office Bearers
During the General Body Meeting, the existing team of office bearers of the Western UP Unit was unanimously re-elected for the next term without any opposition.
The newly elected office bearers are:
- Chairman: Vinay Kumar Srivastava
- President: Praveen Mishra
- General Secretary: Laxman Singh
