
A Robbery has been reported in Axis Bank in Begusarai Bihar. Armed, masked criminals carried out a robbery in broad daylight on Tuesday at the Axis Bank Hasanpur branch located in Ward No. 2 of the Teghra Municipal Council area of Begusarai district. Cash worth lacs of rupees has been looted from Axis Bank in Begusarai Bihar.

The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. Three motorcycle-borne assailants carried out the crime within 8 to 10 minutes and fled the scene. Following the incident, panic gripped the area. The criminals entered the bank brandishing pistols, verbally abused the staff, and pressured them to open the cash counter. When the guard resisted, he was beaten with the butt of the pistol and injured.

The injured guard has been admitted to the Teghra Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment. Rinku Kumari, a cashier at the bank, said the criminals had locked all the employees in a room.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Teghra police station arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Sub-divisional Police Officer Krishna Kumar and District Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar also arrived at the scene and assessed the situation.

Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar said that detailed information is being sought from the bank management. Police are scanning CCTV footage from the surrounding area and a search operation has been launched to apprehend the criminals.
