Bank of Baroda Wins HR Excellence Award for Second Year in a Row


Bank of Baroda has been honored with the “Significant Achievement in HR Excellence” Award by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The award was presented on March 11, 2026, marking the second consecutive year that the bank has received this recognition.

The award was received on behalf of the bank by senior officials including Shailendra Singh, Chief General Manager (HRM & Marketing); C. M. Tripathi, General Manager (HRM); and Dinesh Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Strategic HR & HR Operations).

In another update, Bank of Baroda has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Education Department Maharashtra to provide its Customized Government Employees Salary Package to staff members in Pune.

The agreement aims to extend special banking benefits to around 200 office staff working under the Education Department in Pune.

In another update, Bank of Baroda has signed an agreement with Small Industries Development Bank of India to launch a new scheme called bob MSE-GIFT (Green Investment and Financing for Transformation). This scheme comes under the bank’s Green and Sustainable product category and is aimed at supporting Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in India.

Under the bob MSE-GIFT scheme, eligible Micro and Small Enterprises will get several financial benefits:

  • Collateral-free loans under the CGTMSE scheme
  • Relaxed eligibility norms for easier access to credit
  • Competitive rate of interest (ROI)
  • Interest subvention of 2% per annum
  • Applicable on term loans up to ₹2 crore
  • Interest benefit available for a maximum period of 5 years

In another Update, Bank of Baroda has contributed ₹2,00,16,000 to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF), Kendriya Sainik Board, Ministry of Defence, towards providing educational scholarships to 834 children of ex-servicemen, martyrs, and their widows under its CSR initiative.

The contribution cheque was handed over by Smt Beena Vaheed, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda to Brig. D. S. Basera, VSM, Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board, in the presence of Shri M. V. S. Sudhakar, General Manager & Zonal Head, New Delhi Zone.
