PSU Banks beat Private Banks in sDQI score

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has developed a system called the Supervisory Data Quality Index (sDQI) to check the quality of data submitted by banks. This index measures whether the data is accurate, submitted on time, complete, and consistent.

The main aim of sDQI is to ensure that banks follow the rules given in the Master Direction on Filing of Supervisory Returns 2024. According to RBI, the sDQI scores of scheduled commercial banks have improved in December 2025 compared to September 2025. This means banks are now submitting better quality data than before.
